How do I purchase from JVB Furniture Collection?

Pop into our showroom in Kramerville, Sandton, and experience the luxurious JVB offering with all your senses. Touch, feel, sit and lounge our bespoke furniture to experience the exceptional quality and local craftsmanship that goes into every JVB design. Our friendly and knowledgeable decorating consultants will undoubtedly be able to assist you in selecting the perfect furniture and decor pieces for your space. Once you have settled on a design, our team will assist with size and fabric choices. A 50% deposit secures your order before local artisans start handcrafting your unique piece.

There are a few items you are welcome to purchase via our website. Our decorating consultants will be in contact with you as soon as they receive your quote via the website to complete the order.

What is JVB’s stock availability and lead-time?

Our Kramerville showroom is always well stocked, with items available directly off the showroom floor. There is a 4-6 week lead time for new orders and out-of-stock items.

What are JVB’s Trading Hours?

Monday – Thursday: 08h30 – 17h00
Friday: 08h30 – 16h00
Saturday: 09h00 – 14h00
Public Holidays: 09h00 – 12h00
(Closed over the Easter Weekend and between Xmas and New Year)

How does payment work at JVB?

To secure your order, we require a 50% deposit payment. The balance is then due prior to delivery.

Does JVB deliver?

The JVB delivery team only delivers within the JHB area on weekdays. Should you need an out-of-town delivery, our decorating consultants will be able to assist you by arranging a transportation quote on your behalf.

Does JVB do custom manufacturing?

Much care and consideration has been taken regarding the design and proportions of all JVB designs. We, therefore, only manufacture specific JVB designs. These pieces, however, can be customised by selecting your fabric and sofa size. Other wooden items come with standard size variations. We do not ‘custom make’ furniture from client photos or drawings.

WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF JVB PRODUCTS?

Where possible, we include the dimensions of our pieces on our website. Should you not find them or need a dimension confirmed, please call or email the showroom, and we will assist you.

HOW DO I REQUEST A QUOTE WITH JVB?

It is easy to request a quote online by selecting the piece you would like a quote on and clicking the “add to quote” button. This will automatically add the item to a cart. Once you are done with all items, complete the form to submit the quote. Our decorating consultants will be in contact with you once they’ve received the query. Alternatively, you can email or visit the showroom, and we can put the quote together whilst you wait.

WHERE IS JVB’S SHOWROOM LOCATED?

You can find us at 9 Kramer Road, Kramerville, Sandton, Johannesburg. Our showroom is truly worth a visit.

DOES JVB HAVE ANY OTHER BRANCHES?

We are unique and your best-kept secret. There is just one JVB branch in Kramerville, Johannesburg.

CAN CLIENTS PROVIDE THEIR OWN FABRICS?

With pleasure! You will just need to cover the ‘CMT’ (cut, make & trim) cost for the item. Please make sure to double-check with the decorating team as to how much fabric will be required for the item.

WHY DOES THE PRICING NOT INCLUDE FABRIC PRICES ON THE JVB WEBSITE?

Please note that website pricing on all upholstery pieces excludes the fabric cost. This is because all of our fabric prices per meter differ, and we are not sure what fabric you’ll want to choose. That is what makes your upholstered piece unique, as it is made to your taste. 

Can I buy online?

Not entirely, but almost. You can submit a quote request online, and one of our decorating consultants will send a formal quote through to you, which can then be paid via EFT. Response time is usually less than 12-24 hours during working hours.
