About JVB’s  interior decorating services:

JVB’s comprehensive interior decorating service includes – creative consultation, mood boards,
space planning (2D scaled drawing) and furniture proposal.
As part of the offering, we can source specific items from a network of local and international suppliers 30 years in the making.
This service is indispensable for those interested in creating a considered interior space or feeling overwhelmed with where to begin.
Our interior decorating service is a value-added benefit of shopping at JVB.
Other than the initial call-out fee, there is no additional cost beyond the conventional JVB product prices.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Step 1 - Call out to your home

Our interior designer will contact you to arrange the consultation. The call-out will include a walk-through with real-time commentary and guidance for the space. A call-out fee of R5000 is payable upfront. All decision-makers need to be present during all consults.

What do you get for the R5000 fee besides the initial call-out?

In-store presentation at the JVB showroom includes a mood board, space planning (2D scaled drawing), fabric selections and cost estimate for the proposed furnishings. All decision-makers are to be present at the walk-through & presentation.

Step 2 - Presentation Instore

Once we have been to your space, we will prepare a presentation.

The presentation will be held at the JVB showroom, where you can expect to see fabric samples, mood boards, space planning (2D scaled drawing). Being in the showroom allows you to ‘test-drive’ the product in person.

Step 3: Approval process

You love our ideas and would like to get the ball rolling. As per the presentation meeting, we will make any necessary tweaks to the quote. Thereafter, we will email a decorating agreement and the final quote.

We pride ourselves in the quality, style, and level of care and service you will receive. For us to achieve this, the majority of your order must come from JVB.

Any items that need to be sourced from other suppliers will carry a 15% additional fee to cover our shopping and coordination time. 

Services beyond the scope of this agreement will be dealt with on an ad hoc basis and billed at an hourly rate.

Step 4: Deposit payment

All orders require a 50% deposit for us to begin production. Lead times for furniture average between 6 to 8 weeks from receipt of payment.

Step 5: Balance of payment and final installation

We will notify you once your order is complete and we are ready to deliver to your home. The balance of payment is due before delivery and installation. On the day of delivery and installation, our interior consultant will be on-site to manage the project in fine detail, along with our team of installers.
